From Silver Spring, MD, and a standout from Montgomery Blair HS, the brain behind Value Basketball brings a rich blend of academic and practical expertise. After earning his stripes with a Business Administration and Exercise Science degree from the University of Miami in 2019, he dove headfirst into the world of basketball training. Today, with 8+ years of training experience and 3+ years of coaching, he's transformed the game for over 300 players in the DMV and South Florida, proving that dedication and hard work truly pay off.

Also a Silver Spring native and Montgomery Blair alum, this Value Basketball trainer brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership from his coaching career, including tenures as Assistant Varsity Coach at both Friendship Collegiate and St. John’s College HS. As the current Head Coach of Pro Skills Basketball 16U Elite, he brings over 7 years of combined coaching and training expertise to guide and inspire young athletes.

With a degree in Exercise Science and over 8 years of coaching and training experience, she deeply understands how to develop athletes on and off the court. Originally from Minnesota, she has served as a graduate assistant and college assistant for collegiate basketball, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every session. Known for creating a positive, faith-inspired environment, she is passionate about helping players unlock their potential by helping them think and see the game in a new way.

A Jacksonville, Florida native, Markel Baker brings a unique perspective to Value Basketball. Being class of 2025, he brings youth to the team as the youngest trainer. Markel has been training with Yosef since he moved to Maryland in 2021. Ever since, Markel has played high level high school basketball and trained with NBA players and high level Division 1 college athletes through Value Basketball. After Markel graduates high school, he plans to major in computer science while his pursuing basketball aspirations. Markel has insightful knowledge of the game and is prepared to teach the next generation of hoopers!
